playlist keeps choosing discs that arnt there

The playlist seems to always end up with at least2 greyed out discs in it (Because I have removed them from the player) - they dissappear when they get to be second in the list.

Its almost as if the random picker for the playlist is selecting discs from player ? to alternate with those in player 1 (my only player at this stage)
