"Shuffle playlist items" repeats its sequence

I may misunderstand the use of the "Enter shuffle mode and automatically select music" button on the playlist window, but one of the things I commonly do is load a playlist, and then use "Shuffle playlist items" to randomize the list prior to playing (I don't like listening to things in the same order). If I load the same playlist, and shuffle it, it always ends up in the same order.

Perhaps this could be solved by seeding the random number generator with the time() function, or something similar?
