RE: DSS Question from previous post.

I have a SAT-A2 and a SAT-B2. Yes, these are S-Link, but not CTRL-A1 S-Link, but instead Ctrl-S S-Link. (A1 for audio CD, tape, etc. and Ctrl-S for video) I've figured out how to communicate with these, by using the IR codes and the Control-S port on Slink-e. You need to modify the include file in your CDE files to use SONYCS.CDE instead of SONYIR.CDE. This effectively sends IR commands without a carrier set. My biggest problem is it is real cumbersom to decode the DSS IR commands with CDJ. I want to do it myself with the Slinkserve.exe program. (Colby has just said that he is fixing it so this can be done.) When I get a chance to decode the DSS remotes, I'll send them to Colby to be part of the other CDE files - if someone else doesn't).

Also, read the thread labeled "Beware of ports labeled Control-S / Slink."
