Real Audio is probably the best solution; I'm working on setting up a server over the weekend (combined with pcanywhere, for now, I'll finally have my cd collection at work).

Using Real Audio means bouncing the stream off of a Real server; the Real servers are available for demo download at www.real.com. FWIW, I'd highly reccomend the G2 server and encoder as the music quality is vastly, incredibly better (near CD quality mono at about 24kbps).

I'll post how it goes; I may also be able to let other slinkers bounce stuff off of my Real server as well. All we need now is for some of the CDJ functionality (enumerate CD's, add to playlist, play, stop, etc) to be ActiveX-able, so an ASP page on IIS could control it without having to manually parse the DB file.

Alternatively, it would be real cool if CDJ could store its DB in an ODBC data source, so anything could get to it. Colby?
