I got a surplus 10k resistor in mine.
Other then misplcaing the crystal for several minuites, assembly went without problem (After reading the disussion board post with the errors in it) - other then me putting the lid on it and THEN realising that I still had a pile of chips that I had not put in...
After finishing it off, there was the problem of finding a power adaptor that had the correct pin size in the centre. All the 9 volt adaptor's that I found wouldn't fit. I eventually found one off a cordless phone but it was wrong polarity. Nothing a soldering iron cant fix :)
Now all I need to do is get a 2nd cd player and I'm set.
