Absolutely. If you have anything you'd like to share, just give it to me and I'll put it up on a new page in the site. I very supportive of this - it's just that no-one has sent me any software yet. I've received a few device files... it would be nice to get more of these too.

Regarding some of your other comments, I'm all for platform independence, but I've yet to see many sucessful applications written purely in Java. Ultimately you have to take advantage of UI features on a specific platform to make things look good. It would be nice to have a Unix / X version, but I can't spend the time to do this myself as a relatively small number of people would use this. It makes sense to have those who have the most interest in that area do it.

It would be difficult to remotely collaborate on something like CDJ. Big companies do it I guess, but version control is a nightmare. The main reason I have kept the CDJ source code tucked away lately is that there has been a lot of interest from other companies that want to license the source code, so it isn't wise for me to have it in the public domain at the moment...

BTW, I've already added the 8 serial port feature, I'll release it later today.
