Why do you use the join option ? You can do the joining while writing the ascii file after you have read the tables "albums" and "tracks" separately. Like this: set rst = db.execute("select [any fieldname] from albums") set tst = db.execute("select [any fieldname] from tracks")

At least that's how I do it.
