Overiding Control-AII of input device

Is there a way of overriding the switching the control-Aii input selection. I have connected the CD player up to both the analog input_cd and digital input_md/dat on the reciever. When i use the maps shown below the receiver always switches to md/dat then very quickly to cd. I'm assuming this is because of the control-aii protocol from the cd-player. Does anyone have a workaround???
