When you think about the $250, compare it to the cost of what it controls. Say you payed $300 for a 300 disc changer. Now you fill it with discs at an average of $10 per disc, that's another $3000, not to mention the cost of the rest of your stereo and computer. $250 is less than 5% (for me 2%) of what you've already spent (or will spend). If you buy a second player, or plan to, the master/slave set-up that Sony provides is not as good as one might think. It won't work like one big jukebox, too many limitations, unless you buy this product. When you consider the time saving features, and the WOW!!! factor from your friends, it's a great bargain.
