slink-e log window bug

When viewing the Slink-e Data Viewer window, you can view the activity on the Slink-e. I will do something and want to see how slink-e behaved, so I wait till it’s finished and freeze it so I can view it. While viewing the data window, at first it displays the most recent activity, every once in a while it erases the most recent info and keeps the old stuff. It’s bothersome because I'm just ready to freeze the display when all of a sudden what I want is gone. I believe this started on the 8/1 version, I didn't have any problems before this.

8/01/00 The slink-e communications logging window has been improved. You can now cut and paste the text from this window. It also has a file logging pushbutton which generates a time stamped log file.

I don’t know if I'm doing something wrong, or if I just don’t know how to use this update. I think it's a bug. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
