Tivo -Add Another Disk Upgrade

I used Bless Tivo #2 and got 53 a friend used the first one and got 43. It was pretty easy though. I disconnected a CD rom and used the slave chanel to bless the drive. Read the FAQ to get up todate info, I upgraded my Phillips Tivo in September.

The TIvo upgrade was a success.

Bought a 30.7 gig Western Digital IDE drive for $107 Downloaded the BlessTiVo boot disk from . Installed the drive as the secondary slave in my desktop. Booted the floppy Typed the command "BlessTiVo /dev/hdd" 5 seconds later the drive was ready.. Open the Tivo (torx) Made sure the drive was set to slave Attached the drive to the waiting IDE and power cables. Powered up and checked

My 14 hour Tivo is now a 53 hour..
