In Response To: Changer output to FM Transmitter (Scott Hart)

My setup has a FM stereo transmitter. I use it when I am working in the yard and sitting in the hot tub. It works great.

My first FM transmitter was from a company called Ramsey. It was a FM-25A (kit) and legal if built using the proper componets. It had a lot of hum in the output. The hum came from the wall transformer and I just didn't like it so I build another called MPX96. This is also a kit amd requires you to know somethings about kit building, winding coils and making your own cases.

I run it in a homemade antenna on the roof. I dont get 1-2 miles, more like 1-2 blocks. The stereo is fine and works great for me. Set the slinkie on random playlist and go to work.

I can get you addresses and tell you more if a kit is option.

Gary
