Slink-e Serv doesn't Find Slink-e

I am using windows 2000 and Have my slink-e on com port 2. Windows 2000 says the comm port is ok with no conflicts yet slink-e serv does not find it. Any suggestions. I have a CM11A connected to comm port 1 and am using a PS2 mouse. Any suggestions?
