The Slinke is connected to COM1:, and Slikeserv port diagnostics report NOTHING FOUND for this port. It's the same diagnostic I get if I completely disconnect the cable.

Yes, to both IR and S-link. All 4 Control-A1 II ports respond to S-link activity.

I received your mail suggesting that run the S-link port test from Slinkeserv, but I am unable to select a Slink-e to test.
