I've never seen anything like this. So the S-link seems to be working just fine? You can change to other discs in the playlist without a problem, and CDJ seems to know what's currently playing? If you pre-start Slinkeserv so that slinkeserv won't shut down when you close CDJ, does closing CDJ and restarting CDJ still fix the IR problem temporarily? If you do a View | Settings in slinkeserv once the problem has occured do you see anything unusual with the IR or other settings? Does the Slink-e light flash orange when you attempt to send or receive IR once CDJ appears to no longer be able to send IR?
