The reason is that i have a mixer with only 2 CD inputs. I assume that switching of the analog signal through players only works OK when those players are on the same bus. That is why i would like to limit it to two busses. Another reason is that i would like to be safe for future expansions. I plan on operating CDJ and Slink-e from a notebook PC. The one i will (very likely) get (for small money) only has one serial port. That would limit me to just one Slink-e box, and therefor puts also a limit to the number of S-link buses (4).
