Power Supply

Since I live in Norway I cannot connect the adaptor supplied with slinke to an outlet directly. I have borrowed a unit that converts 220V to 120V. So far so good. But I only borrow this unit and as it is expensive I do not wish do buy one. So I look aroud and find this one: 9V 450mA 4.05VA (as opposed to 9V 650mA)
My question is: Is this unit usable or will it damage my slinke?
And another thing. Is the 270 as good as the new 260? (sound, build, etc.)
