Playlist Issues

1. Is there a way to set the default directory for the playlists. I like to keep my playlists in a directory that takes a lot of clicks to get to. Some programs save the last visited directory in the registry. That would be fine with me. A recently selected playlists feature in the file menu would be cool too.
2. I have a bunch of CDs and a bunch of MPEGs, when I go to random play I cannot get them to alternate. I seems like it used to work.
