Missing or Old Dlls during Setup

During the setup I am getting a message that several dlls on my machine are missing or out dated and that I should run the system update exe. I run the system update exe and that does no good. I get the message on two machines that are basically setup in the same way. I have checked, and I have the dlls on both my machines. I'm fairly sure they are the latest versions also. I have Visual Studio 6.0 on both machines. I ignored the error message and continued with the install and I think everything installed correctly. I was wandering if the install program does not recognize my dlls as beeing the latest versions and pops the message. I wrote down their names and version numbers but left them at home, sorry. Thanks for any help.
