Yes.

No. I will eventually be switching the CDJ database over to an Access format which would make such importing trivial, but for now it is in a CDDB compliant flat text file format.

It certainly won't know the name of the CD via CDDB - you will have to tell it, but it will be able to uniquely identify and track the position of the CD since this is done on the basis of the TOC timecode data.

I make large numbers of compilation and straight copy CDRs. I've switched over to digital with my players and PC sound cards and I'm in the process of modifying CDJ to generate MP3 files automatically as well as extract digital audio for CDR creation.
