Rebooting cleared it up, although I've had a few more editing failures, where changes didn't get saved no matter how many times I tried to make them.
Either CDJ or the Slink-e has also lost track of my IR configuration at least once, failing to generate the events to switch inputs on my receiver. I ended up having to power-cycle the Slink-e and restart CDJ.

PS: just in case it sounds like all I can do is bitch, moan, and complain, let me say that I love this stuff, and am deliriously happy about bringing my music collection back from the dead. Now if I could hunt down and string up the guy who keeps adding obnoxious PERFORMER: entries to every track in CDDB, I'd be gleefully turning handsprings.
