Master players do sometimes try to interfere with CDJ's activity. The best way to avoid this is to place the two players on seperatre busses or to set the master to an ID number which makes it act as a slave.

Also, the 260 has an external remote control receiver, Can this be used with the slink-e to receive all sony remotes, or does it

just do the ones relevent to the CD player?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking here. The Slink-e should pick up the commands from this remote as it can any other. The receiver on the CX260 can't really be used to do anything but control the 260, I would guess.
