It is easy to add delays between commands. Normally you would add a special additional device called lowlevel which would allow direct access to the IR port. You would then send out a period of IR "silence", thereby insuring a period of no slinke activity. If found myself using this command so often that I added a little hack to the slink-e code so that it can be sent from within any device (i.e. you don't have to load the lowlevel device)

To make a long story short, in this case, sending:

cd:ir[-50000]

would create a 50 millisecond delay. (minus means off, and the time period is in microseconds) You can create any delay you like this way. Hopefully this will help you tune the upload. Thanks for your help!
