Problem with CDJ Player

When I chose a CD or Track in CDJ's Library the Play,stop,next,previous, buttons are disabled. If I choose the Player in the view player window the buttons are re-enabled. As soon as I choose another CD or track in the library the player control buttons are disabled again. The playlist buttons however are always enabled. I have the same problem weather I use slinkx or not. By the way it is a 240 player and the 12/10 build of CDJ. Let me no if this is a problem with CDJ or am I doing something wrong.
