Do I need to do anything special when CDJ bombs. It seems like I have to restart my PC and CDJ. Do I have to power Off/On my Sony 270. Any recommendations.

I'm not sure why you would need to restart your PC. This probably has more to do with your operating system (I'm guessing that you are using 95 or 98). CDJ gets the player into a known state every time it starts, so there is no reason to cycle power on the player.
I really take program crashes seriously. If you ever see the program crash please let me know the circumstances so that I can try to fix it. I never send out a version that I have seen crash, but I've had less and less time to put ito through it's paces lately before relesing it.
