Playing Item Info Missing In Some Cases

Can anyone verify the following situation?

I created a playlist of 3 MP3 files (no tracks from CDs) and loaded and played it. I had both the playing_item and playing_timecode set on in startup. Everything works as expected. Then I stop the playlist and start it up again. No playing item info is generated. If I hit playlist next I get info on the next song, playlist previous gets me info on the first song. But everytime I stop and start the playlist I don't get the info for the first song it plays. It is much clearer when you look at the log file at the link below. Thanks.
