Sony alternative to the DMX Crosspoint?

I saw this press release today about a Sony TOSLink 4/1 Switching unit:

Briefly:
Plug four optical sources into one receiver input
Buttons on the box used to switch between sources (unclear if IR/Ctrl-a
an option)
$129 retail, available in July

The DMX still sounds far more capable. How is it coming Colby?
