I envision the day when I can simply daisy chain a FireWire (1394) link between my sources and speakers (I already use digital speakers). That'll be the day.
The worst thing about buying a new source - like a megachanger - is the nightmare I face dueling with the rats nest of wires. Has anyone else had to resort to using mirrors and flashlights to assure they're plugging the wire into the right connector? I tell you, one of these days I'm going to pull out the chainsaw and cutout the back of the cabinet ... and the wall in the way.
