I got the JVC model mentioned in the previous post. It does look like the player has a similar control connection to the Sony S1, but I don't know if the slinke will control it - that's a question for Colby. If the slinke can control it, then it's a good deal. But as a standalone player it has a serious deficiency... RANDOM/SHUFFLE play only works on the entire 200 disks. i.e. you cannot select a group or block of CD's and play just those in random order.
