It happened to me too. I think it can only have one copy of the same CD in the system. It keeps reindexing the main user library with the most recent location and then checks the original location to see what it was replaced with. Which in the case of have duplicates is nothing. So it again changes the index and tries the second location again. It was useful to me to see that I had duplicates. I can only think of one or two rare instances where you would want the same CD in all active players, but it may be confusing to manage in the interface, more trouble than it is worth.
