How can I delay player location on startup?

CDJ works too well! I have mapped it to turn on my stereo system in the pre-startup mode, but about 50% of the time it looks for the CD players and decides it can't find them before my stereo has had a chance to power up (the other 50% it works fine).

I'd like to delay CDJ's search for the players on startup by about 1 second. I thought adding extra commands to the prestartup map would help, but it did not.
