Yes. Read the help on automation. You need to be using the slink server which is distributed in the big package. The 5/21/99 Beta version of CDJ hass just about all of the automation features to allow you to send playlists, individual disks, tracks, etc, and retrieve back data about what is playing, and what is left to play. It is very straight forward and works very well.

Many of us now have CDJ running in the background (Minimized) and our own application controlling the CD changer for all transport functions, and setting up of playlists. All is through the automation features of CDJ and the slinke server.

Mine is running with a Philips Pronto controlling the PC and uses the PC monitor to show all of the requested data in large type (36 point) so it can be read across the room. I had almost no problems as Colby does an excellent job of testing and documenting. feel free to contact me personally through email if you need more info or help
