IR control of Sony DSS

After having my new slink-e for a grand total of two hours, I find that I am unable to control (via IR) an old SAT-B1 DSS receiver that I have. I have been able to use the learn program to learn and control (via the 'try' button) both my TV and DVD player just fine. The DSS unit simply does not respond the the waveforms recorded in the learn program.

I find that when I run the tv-remote demo program, it (the program) seems to recognize any remote presses that I make on the DSS remote (correctly), but clicking on the tv-remote demo's buttons also fails to affect the DSS unit.

Any ideas?

Also, what is the proper way to submit bug reports for the CDJ beta? I sent one to help@nirvis.com, but got no response...
