Control A1 Help

I know this is the wrong forum for this message, but I posted it to the Slink Resource page Discussion Board and haven't gotten a response yet, and I know this Board has more action :) I hope someone can help!

Hi all. I'm attempting to construct a simple 5 button Control A1 remote for my Sony MDS-JB920 Minidisc deck. I'm somewhat confidant I can get the timings right, even though I'm just a beginner. I'm using a PIC16c84. My main problem is that I keep getting conflicting specs depending on which webpage I'm looking at. My main concern is the bit order. I've seen documents saying that the codes are sent least significant bit first, but if you check on the webpage below, you'll see a waveform sent out by a cd changer with most significant bit first, near as I can tell anyways. I'm just looking for some clarification on this. Normally I'd just code it all, try it, and if it didn't work, change it and try again...but I don't have access to an oscilliscope so I can't actually check what I'm sending. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!!

Josh
