My total configuration uses 57%
I checked the CD list usage and for 6 CD's it's 3% and the 54 I have in there uses a total of 8% (including the 1 device panel I alias to...)
So I expect your 280 CD's would use up about 35%.... (in addition to your current configuration...)

The process is still a bit clumsy….
I’ve generated a master CCF file, which has the 60 buttons I need with artist and track names like ARTIST0000000001, TRACK00000000001, ARTIST0000000002, TRACK00000000002 and so on and the buttons have the related IR actions to select CD1, CD2 (and so on) on my exchanger.

I have one app that saves the CD position, Artist and Title information from the CDJ Access Database to a comma delimited file, which I than process in EXCEL, where I change the Artist and Title strings when they are longer than 27 chars
(in stead of just using the first 27 chars, I prefer to edit them by hand if they are too long) and sort them the way I want. Save this to a Comma delimited file….

The second app reads a comma delimited text file and sets the correct strings for Artist and Title and the correct reference to select the CD and stores this in a new CCF which I merge in ProntoEdit with my Complete Home Automaton CCF file….

The plan is to combine the two apps into one and, when I can figure out how to generate extra macro Panels, have the app create as many panels as required for the CD’s in the database….

How does it work with the two players you use? Do you have two device panels with different IR commands for Player 1 and 2? Or do you just send one extra IR command to select the player ?

J.
