Richard,
The July issue of Delphi Informant Magazine has an article on how to use MSACCESS data bases with Delphi. In a nutshell, you need to have MS DAO (Data Access Object) installed via ODBC to use MSACCESS databases from other programs. Once this is setup, you create an alias to the database, it should be just like any other database then.
If you can't get it to work, I'll see if I can put together a sample app for you.
