Re: Shuffle Play Sony Bug

I have an CX90ES, which exhibited a kinda similar problem. Kinda similar in that when played with CX250 in shuffle mode, once every couple of hours , it would start a song, play about 15 seconds, the it would start the same song again. I did not take it in for repairs until last month ( when I finall bought a 300 and moved all the CDs to it). Took it Magnolia Hi-Fi here (where I had bought it 2 years ago), and they fixed it under warranty. New Base unit and motor . I thing I still have the old chassis, but even that is debatable. Anyway it seems to be fixed now. I suspect Sony is quietly replacing the mobos on those units.
