In Response To: IR repeater function quits (Larry Vale)

There is no such limitation. It should work. I use it here. A couple of notes:

1) In CDJ, under View | Options | Slink-es, make sure that you haven't disabled IR.

2) There is a minor bug I have found in the IR routing features of the V2.3 firmware which has a simple work around. The bug is as follows: A signal comes in on a receiver which has routing set up and it gets routed properly. After that a signal comes in on a receiver which has no routing, but because of the bug, it gets routed to the same locations as the previous signal. The solution is, if you are using the routing, you need to have every receive port you use routed to at least one place. That is, there should be at least one red dot on every row which is connected to a working receiver. There doesn't actually have to be transmitter connected to where you are routing it to, so it shouldn't cause any problems unless you were actually using 8 transmitters.

3) Make sure you save your routing settings to eeprom. Also make sure you have 100us IR sampling for accurate IR echoing. It is possible that when you are starting slinkeserv that the slink-e may reboot during the baud rate negotiations, so you need to make your changes permanent.

4) If things still arent working, view the slink-e settings in slinkeserv once the problem occurs. Are all of the settings as you set them initially?
