In Response To: Re: Problems with SONY CDP-CX255 and CDJ in General (Colby Boles)

Turns out that the Disc 64 problem is that the player is cycling through the play modes each time CDJ powers up the unit. When the unit is powered up with CDJ, first the display blinks "REMOTE OFF", then it goes to whatever the next setting is, whether it be 1 DISC, ALL DISC or PROGRAM. When the roll of the dice picks PROGRAM, it goes to the first disc in program 1, ie D64. Some bogus command(s) is(are) being sent when CDJ turns on the player. This does not happen when I manually power cycle the unit using its power switch or it's own remote. So we now know the root of the failure.

I started CDJ with a log file turned on and included the log here. The log wan enabled at CDJ startup, and I left it on for about 2 minutes. I did not execute any commands manually during this time until shutting off the log.
