I have been experiencing similar problems. I too am using NT4 and until I installed the latest beta version, things were generally working OK. Now CDJ and Slinkserv are having real problems detecting a slink-e at all. The only way I have managed to get it working is to fire up VB with the slinkserv control added, which seems to detect a slinke, and then run CDJ.
