Well, my solution at least isn't totally working yet. I'm working with the web page on the CDJ side, and at present it can submit songs to the playlist, but it can't query what's already in the playlist. It also can't start/stop the players, but that's a minor thing.

Right now I mostly PCAnywhere into the CDJ box from remote, then use Real Audio to encode the CD's outputs and bounce them off of a Real server I manage.

Then, from anywhere I can get to a Real client, I can listen to music. So far, I've used ethernet in hotels (very nice), CDPD to a laptop (ugh... 12kbps max), a T1 and 1.1 SDSL at work (also very nice), and 56k-ish speeds at a few friends' houses.

That web page will work intermittantly as I work on the app. I'll post updates here. Right now I'm very, very close to getting playlist info back from CDJ. We'll see.
