I have several SBLives, and I'm very happy with them. They are CPU intensive, but as far as I can tell (winmsd on NTS 4.0 and NTW 5.0) they are only taking one IRQ. If you have a decently fast machine, it should be fine. My NTS 4.0 machine is a pentium 266, and it can handle CDJ, Slinkx, a web server, and Real encoder (at one bitrate) just fine. A PII or PIII should be even happier.

The SBLive's sound quality sounds very, very good to me, and I am sensitive to that kind of thing. It's comprable to (but, if you're picky, not *quite* as nice as) the SB 64 Gold, which is about the cleanest computer interface I've heard.
