The id number you speak of i beleive is the id of the cd(maker) all cd have them even the blank ones. I have burned several music cd using the same software as yourself. CDJ has no problem identfying the cd from and downloads all the track and album from the internet just as a new cd would.

Some tips for you..

I would put the original cd in the disc player to keep it new and take the copies for your car and office, they will get scratch up with all the movement
so better to scratch the copies!

When burnning a music cd do not copy at the highest speed. i set my cd burner to copy at 2x and the original cd to read at 4x. some CDROM drives not handel digial extract very well especially at hight speed slowing down the drive has help me out a great deal!

Hope this helps!

Tim
