CM11 Interface

I have been playing around with the CM11 interface. I have a few questions and any help would be appreciated.

Am I supposed to register a send and recieive task as I do with CDJ or is a single send task sufficient? It doesn't seem to matter.

I send a command to turn on all the lights and it appears to work. When I send the corresponding command to turn off all the lights nothing happens. If I send a set of specific addresses with an off command that seems to work.

The documentation on the responses looks as if it is just a copy of the send commands. Is that what I should expect, basically a string that looks like what I send to control X10?
