In Response To: Re: ID Numbers when burning a CD-R (Guy)

I happened to luck out and find a great combination. I have the HP-8200i drive which I am happy with hardware wise. As mentioned in my original post, I was having problems copying and other software problems. The Adaptec software that came with the drive was not working. Either I was getting corrupted data or I could not match IDs for CDDB.

Anyways, a tech support guy pointed me to the Golden Hawk site mentioned below. They have a program CDRWIN that is great for making copies of audio CDs. I am able to extract an exact digital image to my hard disk and then add CD Text info to it and then burn it at 4X. It comes out perfect, the discs are found in CDDB, and the CD Text works on my CDP-CX220.

I plan on slowly burning copies of my originals with CD text info.
