Where to find detailed technical info?

Anybody know where to find detailed technical specs on Sony receivers? Specifically, I am looking at the STR-DE835 and want to know where to find the IR frequency used by its remote. I have a Niles IR repeater system and have had BIG problems in the past with Sony stuff that uses frequencies beyond what the Niles supports. Notably, the Sony Vision Touch receivers don't work with this IR system. DE835 is not a Vision Touch model but I'm worried that it might use some flaky frequency anyway.
