Cannot locate players

I have been having problems with CDJ locating my cd player (Sony CDP-250) all the time. Sometimes it does, other times it does not. When it does not locate the player I close CDJ and open it again (Somes it has to be open and closed three times) and the player is then located. This is really annoying when slinkeserv crashes suddenly, causing me to have to restart CDJ.

Also, I have the latest and greatest version of CDJ, however, MP3's are still hard to use. Instead of it simply jumping to another MP3 while playing, it jumps back and forth between them! 10 seconds of one song, then 10 seconds of another then it goes back to the original one. I feel like a DJ remixing songs.

Any ideas on how to fix the locating player problem, or fixing the slinkeserv crashing?
