How are you doing?
Can't really answer the question, but hi-fi wisdom would be don't do it.
Personally, I'd say give it a go!
I can offer some practical help again - I've got a relatively long phono lead that came with my sub-woofer that I can lend you for a few days. It's about 20 feet long.
Give me a ring or drop me a line if you're interested.
