Sony CX-850D Questions

From what I've read in this forum, do the following statements appear to be true?

1. Looks like the unit doesn't offer bidirectional communication, so it won't be possible to calculate the information necessary to get titles from cddb for cds.

2. Likewise, there will no way to get text information from either cd's or dvds.

3. Because of the lack of these features, cdj wouldn't be usable in its current form.

4. However, it should be possible to use ir signals or slink cable to load discs,play specific tracks, start, stop, pause, etc, etc.

Does anyone know if the 850 can be pre programmed to play 20+ tracks like the cd megaplayers can? What I'd like to do is be able to play 20 different video's from different concert dvd's (I would expect that unfortunately, all title data will have to be keyed into a data base.)

for example:

1. Rolling Stones - I Can't Get No Satisfaction

2. Beatles - When I'm 64

3. Willie Nelson - Georgia

etc, etc
