Delphi program locks up using Slinkserv

My Sony CDP-CX350 works fine using CDJ and Slink-E. But curious as I am I've been trying to get the OCX-component to work in a Delphi program. Setting up the connections work ok but after the first command to the player my program locks up. Does anibody has a good tip for me to continue my programming ?
